What are the common battery models?

Three major model systems driven by high-rate batteries
Ship models, car models, and aircraft models constitute the core areas of electric models, and their power systems all rely on special high-rate lithium batteries. Unlike traditional civilian batteries, these batteries must meet the three major technical requirements of continuous high-current discharge (above 50C), high energy density, and stability under extreme working conditions. Professional battery manufacturers such as Gens Ace provide core power solutions for this field.

1. Ship model (ship model)
Technical characteristics
Static model: Precisely restore the actual ship structure and interior, with a proportional accuracy of ±0.5% (collection level)

Dynamic model: Equipped with a brushless motor system, the racing speed exceeds 80km/h

Battery requirements:

Waterproof soft pack battery (IPX7 standard)

Continuous discharge rate ≥60C

Anti-vibration electrolyte formula

Application scenario
International Mini Mono racing

Rescue simulation drill

Water body mapping platform
2. Car model (car model)
Technical specifications
Parameters Competition level standard Civil entertainment level
Proportional accuracy 1:10 error ≤0.3mm 1:24 allows ±1mm
Power system Inductive brushless motor + vector ESC Brushed motor system
Battery type Hard shell pole ear battery (100C+) Soft pack battery (30C)
Competitive characteristics
Acceleration G value: 1/8 oil-to-electric vehicle reaches 4.2G

Control response: <50ms (2.4GHz remote control system)

Battery core indicators: internal resistance ≤2mΩ (taking 6500mAh 4S battery as an example)

III. Aviation model (model aircraft)
Military-civilian technology conversion
Target aircraft system

Drag target bag distance: 30-50m (avoid the risk of destruction)

Stunt action: 8-axis redundant power to achieve ±0.5m hovering accuracy

Industrial application

Plant protection machine load: 10-30kg (battery energy density ≥250Wh/kg)

Wire positioning accuracy: RTK centimeter-level positioning

Special operations

Cloud catalysis: -40℃ low-temperature battery pack

Disaster investigation: thermal imaging battery temperature control system
High-rate battery technical standards
General requirements for model aircraft/model car/model ship

Rate performance: instantaneous discharge ≥150C (such as Grignard 1300mAh 6S battery)

Energy density: >200Wh/kg (taking into account endurance and thrust-to-weight ratio)

Cycle life: 100 times @80% capacity retention (5C charging and discharging conditions)

Safety redundancy:

Explosion-proof valve opening pressure 0.8-1.2MPa

Ceramic coating diaphragm temperature resistance >200℃

Industry trends
Solid-state battery application: solving the risk of thermal runaway under high-rate conditions

Intelligent BMS integration: real-time monitoring of changes in monomer internal resistance

Fast charging technology: 15 minutes to charge to 90% (4C charging protocol)
